EDIT: For all of you wondering why Harry is so short...when I drew this, I was imagining him sitting on a stool behind a table or something. Lol, only just realised that you of course can't see the stool...uh...well, you get the idea anyway.
Anyway, about the comic;
I made this one because, even though Lupin was pretty much the kindest guy to appear in Harry Potter, and even though throught book 3, 4, 5 and 6 he was a freaking SAINT....that one scene in book 7 totally disturbed my image of him. And I reckons if it traumatised me that much, it MUST'VE traumatised Harry.
So now whenever I think about him, I sort of go though this "he was so nice and cool and calm and great...but then again there was that one time...arrrrrghghghgh"
Don't get me wrong, I still think he is epic personified...but the way he was about Tonks in that scene PISSED ME OFF MAJOR.
LOVE IT! Teddy's adorable! You saw how he (Lupin) acted upon hearing the death of Dumbledore...he doesn't seem to be as strong as Harry. Harry somehow can accept it and keep going, but I feel like Lupin just stopped right there. Like his last hope was crushed you know? He changed so much after that. He had a temper . O.O He married Tonks out of desperation for a little love without realizing himself he loved her too. Later after Harry knocked sense into him, his life turned for the better.
Omg this is the most amazing thing ever cause i could so see Harry fucking up like that..... xD
yeah that scene pissed me off too but I can kinda see why he did it. He didn't want to harm his family by accident like he almost did Harry, Ron and Hermione in the third movie. He figured if he left Tonks and Teddy with her parents it would take away the danger of something accidentally happening to them like he'd accidentally kill them or worse, he wasn't thinking about the other stuff, like Teddy having a father, or Tonks having a husband all he could focus on was the fact that he was a werewolf and that he was going to hurt them. I'm betting it was even getting to the point where he was having nightmares about it, cause I can't see Lupin leaving them without just cause. Or what he saw as a just cause. He was doing it to keep them safe, he didn't want to leave them but in his eyes he saw no other choice. But in the end he made the right decision which is what a focus on when it comes to that scene.
Though in his defense, he did eventually come to his senses. I can kind of understand how he was feeling though. I bet it was like all his doubts and fears came crashing down on him at once. It was at once a selfish descision and what he thought was best for everyone. It was a complicated... emotion.... that doesn't justify running out on Tonks, but I can kinda see where he was coming from.
AWWWWWWWWW! OHMYGOD! You made me cry! I've imagined this scene happening a bit later in Ted's life. I think that Harry would withhold certain harsh truths from people until the time was right... I really like your simple, clean style!
HaHA, that's kind of funny,yet wow. But very goood, I like the art work. Sorry for the horrible spelling, i'm writing this at an odd angle but am too lazy to move and correct my mistakes. xD But bravo, really. I love the way you drew the charatcers. ^^
