Yes, that took me hours. HOURS.
H0KAY, some things to explain about this one. For those of you who don't know, War of the Worlds was once broadcast on the radio in 1938 and people all over the place thought it was real...resulting in much trauma and chaos. I got this idea from that.  This one is linked to my other comic about aliens, The Signs Effect, which established the fact that the Slade in my comics is slightly paranoid about alien invasionsss. The "Swing away" comment is a spoof from the Signs film. The hats and the water thing is also spoofed from Signs. And finally, all of the stuff said from the radio is taken from the actual transcript of what was broadcast in 1938, (with one or two improvisations.) That is all. I think...   |
