Moral of story: relationship conversations should always be avoided.
Based upon this scene from episode 1 of Sherlock, 'a study in pink' ---> [link]
...because it was one of the awkwardest things I have ever seen on TV. Also; I don't think Sherlock can be blamed for taking what Watson was saying as a flirtation. If someone said stuff like that to me in a restaurant, I'd probably jump to similar conclusions.
If you follow the link, watch that whole vid because there's an EPIC taxi chase scene. Hilarious, with some amazing music.
Obviously there are things in the comic you wont understand unless you've watched the whole episode, so sorry to you lot who can't watch it yet.
Good news for you non-britishies
Sherlock is being released in the USA on PBS from October 24th. (You could always try to find the episodes online, BUT it'd be worth waiting to watch them on TV.)
Moar Sherlock comics to come. Have a nice daaaaay!
Even though it was released over here on PBS, it's still worth finding them online (or buying them) because PBS edited stuff out. I'd have to watch the two side by side to know all what they edited out, but distinctly remember when I watching The Blind Banker that the scene were John shows Sherlock the photo he'd taken of the graffiti was edited it (it faded out/scene changed just after they came back saw it painted black). I have no idea why PBS edited stuff out (they'd put it in a large enough time slot and it was commercial free) but yes, the american version is edited. The DVD/Blu Ray version is the original though, so if you can't find it online you can always hunt that down.
