Just thought I would say something original since I see everyone seems to know where that's from(
disappointing... I wasn't the first)
Worm Wood is an actual real herbal plant.
It was used to make absen, a type of alcohol before they created crystal goblets(glass cups), it was a purple drinks that had disgusting looking clouds of floating bits of flem like stuff in it.
The plus side of it... it activates endorphins in the body that convert fat into energy, meaning it was an alcoholic drink that gave you energy and help fight gaining weight... sounds pretty awesome to me...
currently it is still used in some flu medications, due to it's natural bug killing qualities.
Kinda makes you wish they still sold it in stores as an alcoholic potion, heck even if it was disgusting looking, I would drink it... only it also made people insane... so... hmm
