Big Dog.

Something both hilarious and humiliating happened to me today...I thought I'd share...cause it's random as freaking hell.

I had been to the shop to get some foods and drinks and foods. I was walking up the hill back towards my flat, when this woman with one HELL of a big dog walked past me. So I, like everyone else on the street, sort of stopped and stared at the HUGENESS of this dog (I dunno what breed it was...but it was epic huge, take my word...)

Anyway, all of a sudden the dog stopped walking right as it got past me and started sniffing my shopping bag which was fulla foods and drinks and foods.

Then the woman bursts out laughing, got all nervous and said "ooh, sorry, she must like the smell of something in your bag!" I laughed too and said "ah, yeah, it's prolly the sausages or something..." (I hadn't even bought any freaking sausages, I just didn't know what the hell else to say.)

I started walking again and the dog just starts practically dragging this woman after me, still sniffing at my bag. She's shouting at it, telling it to stop.

So NOW I'm all "uh...wtf do I do...uhhh..." and just kept walking. Dog suddenly rips free from her hands, and runs flat into me. What happened though, was it hadn't even knocked me very hard, but I fell at a really dodgy angle and landed SMACK on my back.

I landed so awkwardly that I winded myself. So you know when you're winded and you cant even move. I was just curled up there trying to breathe, the woman is freaking out screaming at the dog to stop walking on me, saying SORRY SORRY SORRY all over the place. People ran across the road to see what all the fuss was about, and all I could do was lay there thumping my lungs like a total moron, trying to get my breath back, prolly looking like I was dying or something.

Anyway, after a few mins I got helped up by some people who'd come to help. Dog was happily chomping on a packet of CHEWING GUM that I'd got. (WTF since when do dogs like the smell of chewing gum!?) And the woman started staring it me like I was about to shout "I'LL SEE YOU IN COURT, BITCH!" I swear to God, she must've thought I was going to sue her or something. She looked horrified.

I told her I was fine and that it was just an accident...not a problem...and then she was all "oh dear, I hope she hasnt ruined your sausages..." so then I had to freaking fess up that I didnt even HAVE any sausages...that I'd just made it up cause I didnt know what else to say...and then we both sort of laughed hyterically for an entire minute about what had just happened.

Then I went home and binned my chewing gum cause it was all...uh...chewed...
